Who is Chabela?

Chabela was the nickname of Isabel Maria Montes de Oca de Guzman, a woman committed to bettering the lives of others regardless of race or social status. Our organization was created to honor her legacy by encouraging the study and training of young people who cannot afford the costs of a college career, but feel motivated to develop an integrated education, contributing equally to the progress of the society in which they will exercise their profession.
